Our Milan brothers fought hard against difficult odds. Messias, who is under constant suspicion for his lack of performance, finally came through with an early goal at the 6′. It was a decent goal at that as Giroud beautifully tee’d up Messias but the RW still needed to finish as he struck it hard and low.
Leao’s foot had a doomed encounter with Ferrari’s head which led to a red card in the 47′. An unfortunate incident as Leao’s only desire was to create a spectacular over head stunner but instead confused the ball with the players head.
As Milan stay focused through the agonizing red card, Villar decides to play a game of handball and gave Giroud his chance to show his composure in the one on one exhange through a penalty. Giroud chose left and Audero went right, bravissimo!
Other Milan players showed up as well including Pobega with a drilled shot that was called back and the incredibleness of Magic Mike!
The cherry on top was Giampaolo getting a red card as the Rossoneri was able to still manage a win over Sampdoria 2 to 1.
The Milan Club So.Cal group had a great time at Fox & Hounds and owe a special thanks for allowing us to host at this location. It was a small intimate group but still included a new member Marco who we hope to see going forward.
